Seven Gates of Hell - Athol, MA
Summary of Claims: There is much controversy regarding where the Seven Gates of Hell are located in Athol, Massachusetts. Any search of this place lists the location as being 400 yards off Pleasant Hill Road. However, a number of curiosity-seekers have noted that Pleasant Hill Road in Athol, Massachusetts does not exist. There is, in fact a “Mount Pleasant Road” however as well as “Pleasant Street” off of 2A.
Now, the Seven Gates of Hell is a local legend. If you ask the towns people of Athol, MA about the supposedly Seven Gates of Hell, they will tell you that is doesn't exist. There are many rumors in regards to this legend, one being that there are seven iron gates leading to a clearing. Once you are inside these gates, if you scream, no one outside these gates would hear you. According to some sources, seven gates leads off of Pleasant Hill Road into a clearing wherein there is a house and an altar. This place, some people believe, was used to do black magic of some sort. They claim that the altar was used for animal and/or human sacrifices. There is said to be blood on the walls. As such, visitors claim to hear ghostly whispers in the dark from disembodied entities. Some say they saw animals hanging from the trees when they were there. It is said that if you scream from inside the clearing, you can't hear it from the road.
Investigation: March 30, 2019 at about 2:00 in the afternoon, myself and 3 others rode out to Doe Valley Road in an attempt to see for ourselves if any of the claims about there being seven gates were true. Not far after turning onto Doe Valley Road, we came to an old rusted metal gate located on the right side of the road. There is nothing on either side of the gate; just a gate leading to nothing Beyond the gate, there is a trail leading into the woods. We all found it a little odd and somewhat creepy that there is a gate on the side of the road with nothing on either side of it but rocks. This gate isn't attached to anything.
A little bit up the road from this gate is an area(on the right) where you could park your car. Having parked and locked up our car, we started walking through some brush and came to a second gate. This gate was made of wood and looked to be really old. All that was left of this gate was the frame, but you could see that there was once doors attached to it. Like the first gate, it was just the framework and nothing else. There wasn't anything attached to either end of the gate. We walked through the gate and some more brush and came to a cement platform. Beyond this cement platform and through more brush, we came to an abandoned cabin. There is an open cement pit that lead under the cabin into what we assumed to be a small cellar. We had to climb up onto the cement edge of the pit and then scramble into the cabin. The cabin itself consists of one room and some wooden steps that lead into what at one time was an enclosed patio of some sort. This patio looks out into the woods and you can see part of a lake. There is some graffiti on some of the walls but other than that, there is nothing that stands out. There are steps that lead to the outside from the patio area to a path that inclines down towards a lake. This path goes to the left and follows the lake. As we were walking, we noticed that it got extremely windy just around where we were.
We continued to walk the path and then came to a third gate. As with the second gate, this one was also old and made of wood and was just the frame but you could see the metal hinges which were rusted and at one time probably held a door. We noticed that at the top of the frame posts were hearts cut into the wood. And like the first and second gates, there was nothing attached to this gate.
At this point, we once again noticed that the wind was really picking up and kept hearing weird noises, like something (a pebble or small stick) was being thrown. It was really quite; almost like the rest of the world didn't exist. We knew the trail went further than the third gate but because we all were a little creeped out with how windy it got and the feeling like we were being watched, we decided to come back another time.
Conclusion: Did have "I'm not alone" feeling and each of us kept hearing weird noises. It becoming extremely windy just in the area we were walking in was a bit unsettling. The gates are a bit of a puzzle. I would love to know more about these gates... why were they built and who built them? Are these gates suppose to lead somewhere? I don't know if these questions will ever be answered. This is definitely on our "return to" list.

Old Center Cemetery - Winchendon, MA
Investigation: On June 21, 2019, Robin and Ronnie were actually looking to investigate the Old Centre Cemetery in Royalston, but somehow ended up at the Old Center Cemetery in Winchendon. The was their first paranormal investigation at a this cemetery. This cemetery had a lot of welcoming energy. They started taking pictures but only came up with orb shots. Most of the pictures they took had lots of orbs in them. As they were walking around, they came across a tall tree that if you look real closely, it looks like a mother holding her baby.
Conclusion: Overall they were very pleased with the outcome of this investigation and will definitely be going back.
